Sponsors don't record all your hits?

So do most sponsors not record all of your hits? I am tracking all of my outgoing traffic and I have had hundreds of hits sent to my FHGs but yet my sponsors only say I have like 9 or 6 total for these hundreds.

This appears to happen with every sponsor I have signed up with.

Should I be concerned? I read somewhere that even though a sponsor may not be recording your traffic properly you will always get the credit for a join.

Any input?
