A good friend of ours was involved in the marketing for the PS2 (he went on to organise the last Oasis world tour, lucky bastard)
It was his decision to delay the launch a few months in the UK and keep back huge amounts of stock and drip feed a hungry public on a feeding frenzy.. all the publicity the delay and lack of stock caused meant more sales in the end... sound familiar ??? Its all a scam .....so quite like porn really |
