Organisation and Adding Links

Hi

I often aask myself which way I should organise link partners.

For example, you have the larger link directories and blog xxx directories etc. Would you have one Link Category for them on your side bar, and then another for 'Link Partners' or "Friends Sites", or would you just put them all in together?

And what sort order do you sort them in your Link Category, how about sorting via 'updated'?

Adding link exchanges, I read many places that slowly adding one a day is the go, but this seems ridiculously slow, what about adding 5 link partners a day?

One more question is do you add your partners via Wordpress or put the code straight into the html?
