Lord help me, I'm just not that bright

ARS' BYOT is going, going... soon to be gone!
Hello Everyone-
ARS just anounced that they are closing BYOT submissions and working on a new BYOT II program Hopefully, this should mean higher conversions and more $$ for webmasters, not to mention the end of headaches and problems for ARS. However, for designers like me who invested a good amount of money for content to make a new tour.... then to go to submit it two days after submission was closed, its not so bright yet ![]() Announced from ARS: "The ARS BYOT program is currently being restructured to make it a more profitable program for webmasters. Because of this, we have stopped accepting applications for new BYOTs. The changes coming out with the restructured program will include exclusive content provided to use in the tours, ability to set up the member's area with the graphics and content you used on the tour, and a more efficient application process. Please check back for updates on our progress. This is just one step in our process of re-inventing ourselves for growth in 2004." Another important feature as mentioned on the boards is that as of now: THERE WON'T BE A TRIAL MEMBERSHIP - Membership will be $29.99 - however as the new BYOT II program hasnt been launched, im sure details are sure to changed. So to all you webmasters out there who are designing BYOT tours out there... STOP! They wont be accepted! Also note to those webmasters promoting BYOT tours on their sites, you may want to be careful because it is unknown how long the regular BYOT tours may be up! And Finally.... I had just designed a Tour for the Gay Black niche similar to Thug Models which is one of the big sellers and had the highest conversion for Green Guy's gay links. However, this takes up the design a few notches and makes it hard and hardcore! So if anyone out there is interested, please PM me! thanks! -romeo |
