Well... I do not hide the fact I sling porn for a living from my friends, but some family members will never know if I can help it. As Jim said, I just try to gauge if they can take it or not. Other than that, I don't just disclose the information to everyone that asks what I do for a living.

When the people at the bank ask me, I always just say "internet marketing" or "i build websites".
