It's friggin' cold outside, but that's fine because I plan on staying inside next to this nice warm computer.

The wife and I went to see the band Mr. Greengenes Saturday night with her friends. Now, her friends are huge fans of that band and rave about how good they are. They're a fucking cover band! How can you be a big fan of a cover band? That's like idolizing a karaoke singer to me. Don't get me wrong, as far cover bands go, they're good. But certainly not worth $20 a head. And to be shoved in to that old barn with 400 other assholes, shoulder to shoulder - no thank you. I'll pass on the next invite. When I go out, I want to relax and have a conversation; not stand for three hours being elbowed and pushed by strangers. I must be getting old.
