Twitter BandWagon
My thoughts on it was to use to help on SEO traffic and use it as an addition to my blog since some nights my brain just dies with all the thoughts I was thinking of posting. I'm not a big fan of it overall, but when there is a news story about comcast actually doing good customer service due to someone's twitter...well figured it couldn't hurt. =)
Honestly I don't do script/programming.....but I was able to install my tweets on a sidebar of my blog after searching wordpress for the plug in. Now I want more then 1 tweet to show up at time, maybe 5-10 of them and a timestamp. So I need help on the script because I'm just goofing it up and it really isn't my area. These are the links to the info on the plug in : http://rick.jinlabs.com/code/twitter/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/...for-wordpress/ And this is the script that I have :
<?php _e('
Tweets
'); ?>
<?php twitter_messages("Toni_KatVixen"); ?>

What do I need to add to show more tweets and timestamps? I tried putting this and different variations in: ('username', [msgs],[list], [timestamp], ['link'], [hyperlinks], [twitter_users], [encode_utf8]); But all it does it screw up my blog. ![]() Then a really moronic question to show how text savy I am not (I need an actually keyboard...no patience otherwise).....I'm trying to update my tweet by text message. Honestly I have never messaged anyone without it being a full phone number. I have tried texting 404-04 with a message to update my tweet, but they haven't posted. Does it take time or did I miss something? ![]() |
