Well for the first one it's very easy to take the whole gallery in with one glance and overlook the top and bottom ads. I would make bigger, clearer thumbs without the url text and have more sales text. Surf the TGPs and look at all the different designs and ways to sell. Second one is slightly better in terms of ad placements in the actual gallery.
