Video marketing is very important and nowadays big sites have several intros because they are launched and if you look at the video title you will find out that the titles are keyword oriented (meaning that the main propose of the video is not to keep users updated with the development of the site, but to make the video rank good in search engines because this will bring them fresh traffic), so I agree with the user below that submitting intro is a must if you want to give your website a traffic boost before you launch it.

If you search for popular keywords you will find youTube results too and if your video is one of the two videos you will observe that it will give you a good traffic boost. That's why is good to bring as many visitors to your YT video as you can because popular videos rank high.
