5 years ago today my lovely wife and I had an April fools day wedding in Ensenada, Mexico. It was a pretty big thing relatives in from allover rented 167 motel rooms, and a two story palapa bar on a beach for the wedding and reception, two open bars for drinks, two pigs and forty chickens for food, A live band and entertainment coordinators from San Diego. It was a blast calling everyone afterwards and saying April Fools (we did get married the following month).We’ve celebrated both anniversaries since.
My wife just called me from work and asked me if I forgot to tell her something this morning, after much prodding she finally said “something like happy fake anniversary” I had totally spaced it out, guess I need to pop out from behind this computer a little more often
