Per request of the buyer of my lovely home, we had the City building inspector here this morning to tour the house in order to make sure they won't run into any legal issues with the City. He looked around, said that I appeared to have done everything correctly, and went on his merry way. (I changed a multi-family dwelling into a single family dwelling without any permits.) Now, I have informed the assessor's office, and they couldn't care less, but the new single family assessment will not be official until May of next year. Hopefully, this won't be a stumbling block for the buyer who is real estate investor/flipper.
Other than that, I'm sweating my delicious ass off in this bizarre early Autumn heat wave.
