Wednesday January 2nd - An island..

As of right now, we are a tiny island in the middle of a sea of homes without power.

About 79,000 homes are without power today, and it is getting worse by the minute. It is very windy, and very cold here. We got a good dump of heavy wet snow last night, which makes things difficult all around. Fortunately, we are not going anywhere today. I am going to try to get what I can done while we have power, but... I have noticed my internet connection here is finicky. Winds should die down tomorrow, hopefully.
