Is there a setting on laptops that make the battery discharge faster when you are rushing to get stuff done before a thunderstorm hits? We had several waves of thunderstorms roll through here yesterday, last night, and early this morning. I think we were unplugged for about 12 hours in all. I even plugged into a wall outlet last night for a time, trying to get enough charge to finish the galleries I was working on. Nope. Nada. Sigh.

So, we are in the clear for a while today. Maybe more tonight, but so far, so good. Now, I need to get all this stuff in progress finished and submitted.
