I know '96 does sound like a long time ago..whats more difficult is shag carpet was my generation in the 70's and its back in fashion.

We always wondered what it would be like 10 years from where we started. I have hit that 10 year mark, and who would have figured all the trends we did not have back then.

We had free sites, link lists and Top 100/500/200 sites, and AVS..

Now we have link lists, review sites, searh engines, TGO, Blogs, small pockets of AVS.....

Used to have one site, now if you don't have at least 10 your a newb..LOL...

The money did not easier, you work for less margins..for some.

Is there any part of our business from the mid 90's that is just as stong now as ever?

One thing is domain names, still a hot commodity.

We knew then SE traffic ruled, we knew any traffic that qualified teh buyer with a CC is golden [AVS, retail stores etc], type-in traffic.

Now....review sites have golden traffic...what about the other "used to be" or "still is" goldens?
