I've actually got a couple of books on The Simpsons & Religion - they do tackle a few religious subjects each season.

and nothings better than the wit and sarcasm they usually use to cover them :-)
But the guy is rightm they go to church every Sunday and they do sit down and have dinner together every night. I do believe this only happens in the cartoon world nowadays

There was a study a while ago that showed that the Simpson,s in times of mentioning religion, was actually one of the top religious shows. It shows the good relatinship that they have with god and each other, talking to god, going to church, etc.
