Smile Happy Whip'em Out Wednesday!

Happy Whip'em Out Wednesday everyone

Not much on the agenda for today - my niece is off from school, so she'll be visiting us for the next 2 days.

My mom is home form the hospital & doing very good, so I'll probably make a trip over there with my niece.

Good Morning all - a beautiful day starting at 4:30 this morning - got caught up with some reviews and off to build build build (and do a little tinkering with someone elses site SE wise) - got to get some good weight lifting in and some keyboard and bass guitar practice today - getting ready for the college gig in two weeks

Metallica's, "Whiskey In The Jar"
Misheard Lyrics:
Wack off my mole.
Correct Lyrics:
Whack for my daddy-o.

Whip em out and wack em Wednesday? Ouch.

It looks to be sunny day out there today. Not that I care. I don't go outside anymore unless I feel the need to throw snowballs at the dogs. I may actually build something today. I really need to, but when you get into a non-building trend, it's hard to get back to work.

Morning already? Didn't we like just do this like yesterday?

Just another day of going to the gym and then back home to look at nasty naked pics for me today.

I mostly listen to house music also known as trance, industrial, tecno, or dance, take you pick of names since it is all pretty much mindless music with a beat. In a desperate search to find some type of radio to listen to since the local South Beach gay dance radio station went hard rock, not sure if they are still gay or not, I've been looking at alternatives since all the local radio stations here are now crap. Actually it is kind of strange as an old time hard rock channel went Latin so the local dance station decided to go rock and it turns out that Disney owns them.

Yesterday I checked out XMRadio. Not bad but I would have to buy a new radio to enjoy it or listen to the not so great computer version of it and also have to pay a small monthly fee. Also there is no decent way to record stuff from it since the computer version is streamed through the web browser which also means that I couldn't easily stream it through my Airport Express into my home stereo unless I went back to a hack that allowed sounds from my web browser to be streamed but then such things as fucking Flash banners would also end up going through my home stereo.

I decided to check out the radio stations in iTunes. Wow lots of good stuff in there and its all free. It is also mostly commercial free and sounds great.

I'm loving the programing from this station www.di.fm
I see they even have some kind of program for Windows users to listen and record their programing. It's pretty kewl as while the song is playing people log in and rate the music and post comments about the music.

Since iTunes doesn't allow you to record radio I spent $15 buck on this www.xample.ch which records each song, gives it the proper name, genre, and other info, and then adds it to iTunes so that it ends up on my iPod.

I left it running last night and now I have 10 hours of commercial free trance that I can listen to when I'm not at home by burning to CD or using my iPod like today when I go to the gym.

Just in case you don't know already iTunes is free and available for both the Mac and the PC.

Morning all,

From now on you can call me Uncle Fonz. My sister got her first baby this morning, a healthy girl called Emma. Too bad I don't like the dad at all, certainly not because he's been living with us for over 6 years now and he's a lazy prick.
Ah well guess I'll just be happy for my sister then

Ok, back to porn now.

Good stuff, major major spoilers there, I'm sure Lucas will have a field day when he finds out it's posted.

Bright and sunny (and slightly fat) in Montreal this morning. Just whipping another video off the editing machine, Fedex is sure going to love me this month. Other than that, today is a programming and screw with stuff kind of a day. Tons of stuff to do that I have had to ignore for a couple of days, so today will be a major crank out.

it's all good.

;-)

I'm sitting here sipping on a Red Bull trying to get my fat ass motivated to get to the gym.

My body is saying go back to bed and my mind is saying get some work done but my big ass is saying go to the gym.

Maybe I just need more

We must have done something serious to piss off Mother Nature.

Late last week everybody that was without electricity since the hurricane 6+ weeks ago finally got it back. They're not hooked up to the main electricity grid, they're running of diesel generators... they expect everybody to be hooked up in about 6 MONTHS.

Since that hurricane, we've had 2 more storm and some snow storms. Last one was just a week ago and there were some serious accidents.
Today it's time again. Just around where I live we've had 120 accidents and they've closed the freeway going south.

It's good that I have big stash of books and coffe at home

An article sanctioned by a researcher at NOAA claimed that the hurricanes that Florida (and other states) experienced are part of a 50 year cycle -- and that we are in year 3 of the cycle. I believe the prediction is 5 major hurricanes next year. I searched their sites, but, cannot find the original article. I sort of dismissed his prediction of 4 major hurricanes when I read the article at the beginning of last year.

I must admit, with the storms around the world, record snowfalls in areas, record rain in other areas, earthquakes, tsunamis, it seems rather prophetic.
