AVNADS.COM and Adbrite: Fusker buddies

Boogie, one thing I learned long ago in this business: Until people complain, most programs don't give a rats ass WHERE the traffic comes from. I am sure many of them woudl take toolbar redirections of disney and nickleodeon traffic provided they could find some fool to buy it.

AVNads and Adbrite are doing what is traditionally done: When someone bitches, take action. Until then, DO NOTHING. I don't think it is willful blindness, just a "don't care" attitude until someone turns up the heat - and even then, adbrite's original response was classic "it's not our problem, buy a bigger door lock" stuff.

I am hoping that other programs see the level of frustration that exists with these fusker sites, and move to block them within their T&C and in reality.
