taken care of. Tart, That is the proper way to use it. with modern scripts like wordpress and typepad its pretty simple to moderate trackbacking and with the right wordpress plugins trackback spam isnt a concern. Its unfortunate that most webmasters dont allow trackbacking out of fear of trackback spam. Also wordpress 1.5 applies the "NOFOLLOW" tag to all trackbacks and comments unless you use the plugin "DOFOLLOW". So trackback spamming a 1.5 wordpress blog is pointless, you'll gain no linkworth. so turning on trackbacking is safer than ever really ![]() |

Oh as for trackback ettiqute.
1) not too often 2) dont go spamming a guy and linking to everything he posts. (see number 1) 3) dont steal content link to it instead 4) establish communication with that blogger to make sure he knows you're not a spammer. all can be useful guidelines ![]() |
