I watched the local gas station changed the price from 273.9 to 315.9/gallon yesterday. And yet, for some unexplained reason, diesel is still more expensive. I forgot to look today but I am sure it went up even higher overnight.

So, here is what I don't get. The gas in the station tanks is bought and paid for. So, why does the price go up before they need to resupply?
