Question for affiliates

What are the biggest, most important things you look for in a sponsor's website and program? What tools do you like, what tools do you dislike?

and do you promote ccbill sponsors?

Do lots of ccbill, but all together they do not add up enough to be in my top 10 sponsors. Strange, seems larger (=more profitable to me) sites don't use ccbill.

As well as the obvious, content that sells, I like DETAILED STATS. Customizable tracking codes I can report on. And a link system that lets me send users into any page on your site.

I use quite a few ccbill sponsors, makes good part of my income.

Of course the site has to convert and retain well. Support is a biggie for me. Bugs me to no end when a sponsor cant reply to support requests. Also lots of ad material in many different shapes and sizes. And as many tours as possible.

I'd think the most important thing is a site (or sites) that convert. In the end, the sponsor could have the biggest & best admin & promo tools & bells & whistles & whatnot, but if it doesn't convert, who the fuck cares.

The more tools the better - different sized banners/graphics, hosted galleries & free sites (and ways to easily export them), promo content, etc.

First, I gotta like their sites. Even if people tell me a site makes 100 sales a day, if I don't care for the site, I won't promote it.

I'm not a big sponsor promoter, but I look for unique and interesting sites that I would want to join and would work with my traffic. All the full page ads and unusual banner sizes in the world don't make up for crappy sites, to me. I'm on CCBill myself and most of my sponsors are as well, so I'm happy with them.

I'm curious whether affiliates prefer sites running on nats vs mpa3. Apart from the scadals & innuendo, does one provide a better interface than the other?

Beaver Bob - Content is the number 1 item I look for. If they dont have free content available I wont promote it. Nothing wrong with CCBill.

Emmanuelle - NATS has a better interface for both webmaster and sponsor. If I wasnt so broke I would get NATS for my sites. The people I talk to tend to trust NATS sites over mpa sites.. and people tend to prefer sites using just CCBill over mpa, so to me that says a lot about mpa! As an affiliate I truly prefer NATS, its easy to use and used by many sponsors I promote so that just makes it that much easier. Are you thinking of getting NATS for NaughtyNiche?

I'm mulling it over, but still not entirely sold on either one. I hear good & bad about both, and it's getting hard to seperate the propoganda from the hype. This is why I hope to hear from those use use them more regularly, since I personally prefer ccbill programs.

I did get accused of being 'rinky dink' on another board, because we're using ccbill ourselves, and that gave me a bit of a complex. We may not offer $40/sale, but our integrity is intact, we're honest, hardworking, and those that promote us can vouch for our worthiness.

If you are trying to make money that does not make any sense.

Number of sales for pps and /or conversions and rebills for revshare.

Re-read the original question.
