Everything will be fine with her. Give me a call if you need anything. I was going to say to tell her to "break a leg" but, I don't think you say that for knee sugery. Just tell her good luck.

Speaking of which, my Grandson will be born in just 4 more days

I have no idea how things will be working. I know my wife is leaving Sunday and I will either leave Sunday or Monday or maybe even Tuesday morning. But, I have no idea how long I will be gone.
