What Graphics Software do you use and why?

No, never used photoshop. I use Fireworks because I use Dreamweaver and got a good deal on an upgrade from an early version (free in fact) of Dreamweaver to a better version of Dreamweaver plus Fireworks.

Graphics are not my strong point, I try to avoid them wherever possible. About the only things I can draw are curtains and conclusions.

It's taken me long enough to figure out how to do things in Fireworks, so I don't think I would have the time/patience/inclination to try anything else.
