I though you had to be joking.

Leasing a domain, why would I want to do that instead of buy one?
40K uniques for the month to date isn't much traffic in this business.
$8,500? Someone's been blowing a big bunch of smoke up your skirt .

I have several sites doing more than 10K uniques per day, and combined they wouldn't sell outright for $8,500.
