TP: Congrats!! Cottonwood is a GREAT little community. My uncle lived in Sedona but we used to go to Cottonwood to some bar he really liked when i'd come visit him. Not too hot, not too cold but still 5 hours from Vegas. LMAO..
I think if you want a nice little community with a couple of large cities within a 2 hour drive .. you've picked a nice spot. |

I thought things were slow and easy when I lived in Florida, now I know what stress free living is the one internet cafe in town is closed after 5 and on weekends so are all the shops in old town even the car dealerships close on weekends. When I found out the local computer cafe was closed Saturday I blasted over to Sedona and into bumper to bumper traffic, I won't do that again. We've checked flagstaff and Prescot out both beautifull cities, but I'm digging being a country boy again. Oh and Doc we almost stoped in Vegas to say hi but the quarter came up tails ![]()

you couldn't have gone 2 out of 3??? dayam. I think the quarter was defective.
Yeah Sedona is busy cuz all the New Agers come looking for Power Spots and Auras on the weekends. Do they have a Walmart there yet? I know that it was a big deal every time I went to see Uncle Maddy about spoiling the landscape with a Walmart and they wanted it in Cottonwood. I've been to flagstaff a few times as well. Good college town. Did you look at Boulder City here in Nevada? No state taxes, good climate and BC is a big bigger than Cottonwood but 30 miles from Vegas and has the river so you'd have your water near by. |
