Remember too: the 30 million is tax free (we don't pay withholding taxes on lottery winnings in Canada) so he will have all the money net. If he invests all of it and takes a net 5% return on it, he will have well over a million dollars a year for life to play with.
He is an accountant by trade, and he seems very very tight ass about everything. He is just being very, very cheap. Alex |
