Morning...

I got an estimate yesterday on how much to re-landscape my lawn after last years disaster. Pretty much gonna go with the old cheap and cheerful but butt ugly rock in the front with a couple of plantable islands. and then just re-seed the back yard. The biggest expense is removing the stump from the former living tree that was cut down by "mistake". They want 5K to remove the stump. I said.. fuck it.. paint it black and stick a planter on it. The estimator looked at me like i'd grown a horn when i told him i want black and white rock in my yard and tried to convince me i really wanted the oh so boring red that everyone else here seems to have.

Lessons I've learned: Never ever rent a house out to friends or family.

Ok now that i've 'blogged' er ranted.. More cleaning and porning today.

But first MORE coffee is needed.
