My first freesite in a long time - comments ?

Damn Doc...really wish had asked for a review before having that many sites built

As much as I hate to, I'll have to decline listing these sites. When you get a fresh batch built that have their own galleries that match the site and fit at 800 wide, I'll definitely take another look

Sorry, but with the re-design of my site...I'm really pushing quality to the surfer. To be blunt...and I mean no offense here...but those sites with those galleries just don't say quality

On the repetition issue, it's a tough call without actually seeing the sites. But, I'd suspect you'll have problems with quite a few reviewers on that too.

No offence taken ... I will stop submitting to your site until I get my next batch of galleries wich design looks more amateurish No problems

TY for the time you took to write the imput. I really can't do much about the galleries (except squeeze them ni 800x600), but I'l take that in consideration next time I build a new batch... I still have like 100 of theses upfront thought

Yea...damn, that's definitely the downside to having that much upfront work done

Not sure about the 'more amateurish' thing though. It's really not that the sites look too polished...far from it actually. It's that the first pages look very amateurish (almost too much so). Then the galleries not only don't match the same theme of the first pages or each other, but one is too wide and the other isn't. It creates a very 'cobbled together' feel to the site overall.

Take a look at some of the new site listings on Greenies Link o Rama, you'll get a good idea of what it takes to get listed

Don't worry I wasn't feeling like you were dissing me ... I'm listening and learning right now... I've only submitted a couple times and I managed to get a couple sales so far... I've earned more then min wage just learning so I'm not complaining.

Are you talking about free-sites or galleries here? If it's about those free-sites, I find that hard to believe. I also think it gives false hope to new submitters.

Free-site building and linklists are projects for the long-haul, not for a quick-buck. If I could have made miniumum wage for all the time I've put into building, submitting, & reviewing I'd be a happy man right now.

And yes, that is a very sad statement...
