Not sure if this will help, but I use a handy free little tool called screen measure to, er, measure stuff on my screen.
http://members.chello.nl/o.karadeniz.../download.html It won't tell you exact sizes with one click or anything, but if you want a quick simple way of measuring it's very useful.  |
