Does Your Blog Have Proper Written Posts?

I try to keep my blog personal.

I added links to a lot of your non sblog type blogs. Link exchanges welcome. My site is http://www.maddiestyle.com

Updating a blog isn’t hard at all, but the payoff seems to be long term. If I hadn’t gotten a few sales since starting my blog I might have added sponsor rss feeds and left it alone. It’s hard to skirt the edge between paysite feeder and real content. I would like to add more personal sex stuff and get into the sex blog community.

When people tell me the blog is to commercial I tell them I like making sales off my blog. It’s good to find adult webmasters with similar things going on. I hate when people advise others to start a thousand blogs and spam like crazy. I guess it works for them, but not for me.

I’d be interested to know if people have considered the problem of reconciling good sales technique with out being pushy or a hard sale.

I haven’t optimized anything on my blog yet because I’m not sure what to do. I think I’ll keep posting what ever I want and add a little webcam portal spot “presented by streamate”. That way I can keep my posts noncommercial. Or real posts as was said earlier. Anyway I think the real benefit of doing a real blog is the search engine benefit.

I think the question to answer is "whats the purpose of my blog"? For me, XXX Blog Maniac serves a couple purposes, neither of which is directly sales.

First, it's intent is to be a bookmarker / SE magnet. Judging by my stats it's succeeding, at least with bookmarks. SE wise it does ok.

Second, because of the nature of most adult blogging, it's difficult to get good organic links to your splogs. It serves that purpose.

I guess as a sort of "side" benefit, it also acts to filter traffic to the blogs I am trying to make sales from. Although I really never thought of it for that purpose.

Lastly, it give me a place where I can just sound off, blow off steam and at least pretend that there are people actually reading what I'm saying and either nodding in agreement or shaking their head thinking what an idiot, either way, my voice has been heard.

I have 2 blogs that got neglected, and I've recently started posting regularily.

The first is on my LL, http://www.theredcherry.com/reality-porn-blog/index.php I call my twisted porn blog. I try to do a combo of premium site reviews, link list happenings, weird stuff I run across, what is happening in our life, and commentary about articles I find in the news. I don't know the ratios, it is a real mish/mash and varies depending upon what I find to write about. It is 100% hand written by mostly me, but sometimes also MadHatter.

We will be adding a redneck picture section soon, we find so many quirky things around our town we take pics of, lol.

My second blog is http://www.hotpinkdiary.com/my-diary/ where I write stuff for women. Paysite reviews, free and avs sites I build, stuff in my life, etc. Haven't posted as much in this one, but trying to post several times a week.
