I wish I could find the bookmarks on the research done with Policosanol and Gugulipid. They have shown very amazing results in other countries. You are starting to hear vitamins finally here with Policosanol, but still not much on Gugulipid. It has been used in India for 100's of years for not only cholesterol, but to balance your sugar. If you don't have sugar issues, take Niacin. That is one thing the AMA will admit helps. Start with 500 mg and work up to 1000 - 1500 or so. I you have any sugar issues though, it will raise them. I was having morning blood sugar levels of almost 120, so I had to quit it. The next day, my morning blood sugar was back down to under 100. Good luck! I am VERY encouraged to continue to eat this way, and take these supplements. It is quite a fist full, but no way I'm giving them up now.
