Hotlinking of mpg's can't be blocked...

For a members area .htaccess works fine.

But for free sites, tgp's etc etc....

One way to make it happen is to have all your videos in one directory.
Your pages with the movies have to be php or be able to handle includes.

You then have a script that changes the directory name with all the movies in it every 15 minutes.

Same script also edits the directory name in the links to your movies on all your pages at the same time.

So someone can only hotlink you for 15 mins.

At this moment in time the 1st video link reads: gals.nudebeachmovies.com/nude_beach_pictures_videos_07/content1168228800/nude_beach_movie_01.wmv
If you read this post in 15 mins from it's post time those numbers to the right of "content" will change randomly.

I'd also like to say we implemented this in 2000 when B/W was a wee bit more. Today I would not do it. I'd rather get my videos or pictures hot linked. Free advertising. You have to watermark everything though.

For affiliates this will not work though unless you have permission to re watermark the video with your own url or use your own videos you own the rights too.
