Is it a good idea to build "freesites" to pump traffic to my main TGP site.

Q#2:
How many recip links would you suggest ?
4 ? 6 ? 8 ? 10 ?

1 - you can do that, but it might be a better idea to push a sponsor while linking to your TGP with one of the 3 ad links.

2 - I've seen 6 recips that look like shit & 16 recips that looked great, so it's no so much the amount, but how you lay them out (make the look pleasing to the eye)

3 - You're probably safe submitting to any LL that has a category for the niche that you're promoting.

4 - No one can answer that.

5 - Surf around & see what others are using & write one up based on that.

6 - I'd stay away from linking directly to a mainstream sponsor because some will not accept traffic from any adult sites, even if it's an exit link (so linking to a hub/page would work)

Another magic tool for the briandead, must be studied closely. I would like to know, if poss, what is the return on effort. ie how many sites are directed at the winners, and like-wise the duds; but man that is some sheet.

I have around 100 freesites I think, I put 20 recips on each mirror (custom made recips, standard tables will look crap with so many)to submit to a total of 80 link lists, traffic varies a LOT, some niches get more traffic than others and the best niche varies from link list to link list also, there is just no correct answer to the question about traffic.

The fact that it's censored should be reason enough not to circumvent the censors so it will appear. It's pretty obvious the board owners don't want that domain listed on this site.

There are too many variables to answer that question. Not the least of which is the pull power of the links on the individual site. And that has to do with the technique of each individual webmaster.

Add in the variable of which link sites it's submitted to...and the category...the quality of the images...banners...etc..

Some reviewers may decline for using that as an exit link since they have played games in the past - such as disabling the back button. Most exit links are crap, but I personally prefer a search engine.

While making 10c off your exit link may be .. umm 'good'... your time would be far better spent doing something far more constructive.


Over in this thread - http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...ad.php?t=37736 - you also offered a positive opinion on "nofollow" tags on 'sponsor' your links.

While there may be an argument to support the theory, IMO this again is thoroughly wasted effort.

Lots of people, especialy newer webmasters get caught up on these silly theories that so-called experts love to throw around.... when in truth most of the fundametals are exactly the same..as they have always been.

I pay 19.95 monthly at webair (moved recently there from dreamhost). Until now I got almost 60 USD from warningpages in 6 months, two payments. This technically means that I could pay once in a while one month of hosting.

About the nofollow thing, I wanted to sound like a neutral oppinion. I've noticed this, though: before putting the banner to sponsor and some links to FHGs from another sponsor, my hubsite had PR3. One month after putting those links, got PR2.

I'm no SEO expert, but I presumed that I could try this nofollow thing (I saw penisbot uses it on the main page, too).

I know I don't build as much as I should, I'm still a "sunday adult webmaster"

be careful about that exit link. Personally, I would decline for using an exit to viagra as it is an adult product.

I used to use exits on all free sites, haven't done so in quite some time for exactly the reasons stated.

Pardon me, but if they click on the "exit here" thing, doesn't means that they are not interested in your site?

If someone is not interested enough in downloading free content then it is very unlikely that he will purchase a membership so i want to "get rid" of him as soon as possible - before he consumes any bandwidth.

How do you know that when they have only seen one page out of four pages? The exit link is nothing but distraction, some people choose to use it and some don't. If I use an exit link and see 1000 clicks on it, I will sit down and re-evaluate my marketing technique rather than trying to get rid of them and make a few cents out of them by sending them to another site!

Don't take me wrong but that comment tells me you need a lot of learning to do. I make good income from pages that don't offer ANY free content. Make a decent hub with different niches and link to that instead and see how it does


I am just stating my opinion, you guys do what you wish with your sites
