I had bilateral pulmonary embolisms, the first time I recall hearing of a pulmonary embolism was in 2003 when David Bloom the NBC journalist that was embedded with the 3rd Infantry Division in Iraq had one. I remember thinking when he had his that it was a very unsexy but painless way to die. I was only half right it feels just like getting your ribs kicked in. The drugs were great so I really wasn’t worried about anything, but was told after I got out of ICU that I’m very lucky that I didn’t die or have a massive stroke. FanTC, MajStress and everyone else involved thanx for the plant, I really appreciate the gesture. Chop I am very privileged to be able to count you among my friends the ICQ’s between you and my wife helped her get through this ordeal more than you will ever know. To add insult to injury I threw my back out right before they released me from the hospital but that’s ok they sent me home with plenty of pain pills. So anyway this cat’s still got a few lives left, I’m ok now and I’ll get back into the swing of things soon and y’all need to get back to work ![]()
