by LOTS of content, do you mean you have 50 photo sets that have variety and are optimized for your member area? are the pics high quality and do they show the personality of the model?
and again, LOTS being in the eye of the beholder, most of the single model sites i review don't have lots. they have very little. do you have 20 or more videos over 8 minutes each or 30 videos over 5 minutes each? do they look sharp and well lit? are they optimized at a bitrate and quality level and size so they are competitive with other sites and look good? if you have the content but still have to optimize it, you can save time by having the design done while you work on getting things down to size. but first go through EVERY pic set. find only the best pics - the ones that are the sexiest, the ones that show the model's personality and the best lit. make sure there's variety, some pics with smiles and that some are close ups and some are medium or full body shots. those are the only pics you should send to your designer. if you order your tour, member area, affiliate pages, banners, fpas and fhg templates at the same time, make sure the designer starts on the tour and member area first as you want them finished first followed by the affiliate pages. that way, once you're done setting up your member area and tour, you can work on the affiliate pages while banners etc are being done. if you don't have the server, get it now. either start uploading 24/7 or mail your host a harddrive and have him put everything on your server. come up with a basic file structure for your member area and make sure everything is where you want it to be. if not, move things till they are. by now you should have a member area template. put up at least 10 videos and 20 pic sets with descriptions, thumbs, everything. if you have a tour, you can put together at least one page and the join page. now you have a little member area, a tour and can submit your site to ccbill. in the meantime, you can keep adding more and more content to the member area - it'll be over a week till you have visa. in the meantime you can put your affiliate pages together. once you have either 30 pic sets and 12 videos up or or 40 pic sets and 20 videos if you want to shoot for better retention at the gate, you're ready to send your site to some review sites and your first affiliates. |
