The Best way to promote a Link List

One thing I would suggest is for you to populate your LL with some Free Sites. At the moment it looks very bare.
When I started my LL I used my own Free Sites, other people's free sites from here and Hosted Free Sites from various sponsors.
I'd aim for around 25-30 sites in each niche to get going.
You could also try Link dumps - you'll get a trickle of traffic - and the SE's will pick you up quicker. Also, hard link exchanges with other LL's.
