target=blank vs target=new

I wondered too before, but never bothered finding out, but now I did...

The difference is that _new is not a valid target name, while _blank is. In practice both will work and will open a new window, but a window created with "target=_new" will be a named window, with target="_blank" a new unnamed window is opened.
