Site Software for Recieving Submissions
Hello All...I hate to ask the stupid questions but I'm not captain obvious and can't figure out everything for myself...my questions are this:
1. What kind of software/script are used for sites that accept submissions? Is this just your standard tgp rotator type software? Any names or freeware would be nice. 2. Are sites that accept submissions and freesites made with the same type of script? My assumption is that the free sites are built with good old fashion html and then the original galleries are submitted to the sites that accept submissions. I see on some example sites from peoples signature lines that have cgi redirects or something, so I know those aren't hard coded by hand. Are the two related? Thank you in advance... |

1. Many different types of scripts that have many different bells and whistles. Some are free, the good ones seem to cost money.
2. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking... but most porn content sites are driven by scripts which are very similar. In fact, I think many submission accepting sites aren't that much different from a lot of wordpress blogs. ![]() Why the questions? Looking into setting up a site for yourself?

Hi easymama
I'm not sure what you mean by 'sites that accept submissions'. Basically Link Lists, Directories and TGP's are types of site that accept submissions and each have their scripts to automate the job. As virgohippy says the scripts you can get vary tremendously and you really get what you pay for. Two names that spring to mind are Gossamer Threads and Dragon Scripts. Both have a good reputation. Cheers

Have a look at this thread about starting a linklist. For your second question, if I understand it right... If you get a script to accept submissions, you will be able to accept different types of sites if you wish such as tgp galleries, mgp galleries, blogs, freesites, etc... Certain scripts like dragonlist are setup where you can list tgp galleries, mgp galleries, freesites, and adult blogs like I do on tripleXworld.com. Hope this helps ya. ![]() |

Hey Lowry, Is dragon list the script you use? My question is this, and please forgive my inexperience...but I clicked on a link that took me to another site and I didn't see a link back to triplexworld....is there a form of traffic trading going on or are all the sites that are linked there your other sites? I'm just trying to figure it out so I can see how things work... thanks...

I haven't seen anyone complain about it, everyone usually seems happy with the script. Myself included.
![]() So, IMO it is worth the price. |

I don't use DragonList myself but I've been asking around for a while now with a view to doing another LL. Everyone who uses DragonList has praise for it and at the moment that would be my choice for a script. 300 bucks sounds like a lot of dough but you're getting a lot of script. Cheers

There are free scripts too check the one from my signature. Aldo if you can afford buy a professional one like the best I know used on link-o-rama for 400$. Remember nothing is really free in life. I will start another ll with that new script. Adapting the old one for the new script will be too much trouble.

How does dragonlist compare to JMB Software's AutoGallery Pro and AutoGallery SQL? These are only like $85 and look like they have a ton of features...any input?

JMB Soft has an actual linklist script, LinkX, which only costs $60.
I'm thinking of buying it, had desided on xpowerlinks for my first LL, but it's been almost a week since I wrote them to buy, and no answer, so I think I'll try something else... For a small first project like mine, I'm pretty sure it will be alright ![]() |

Hey...check out esyndicat.com that's the bomb ass link list. You can get an unlimited domain license for the same price as JMB...I have a license for esyndicat. Great customer service and a good product, but excellent that you can have it on as many sites as you want...it's worth your time...I love JMB software...I use the tgprotator on some of my sites and I contacted the owner to see if he could beat the esyndicat price and he said he couldn't but the other products are great. My recommendation would be to stay away from xpowerlinks. The guy that created the script is pretty cool but he doesn't run it anymore. He's got a new guy running it that doesn't seem very responsive. I just looked and the esyndicat pro license is $149 but well worth it. Hope this helps.
