Just a heads up - I want to leave this as is for 24 hours so that everyone can take a look & leave some last comments before I go onto step 2 (which came to me this morning - lol)

I also have to say that there are a few things that no one mentioned that I thought for sure were "dumb rules" - but we shall see

What are some of the major changes you were thinking about at the begining of the thread?

I see a lot about submissions here, don't we care about what is going to make a linklist more appealing to a surfer? With was many links that are traded between linklists big and small, it seems we could be looking a little more about how to keep our business model relevant.

Or am I missing something?

Problem is most of us aren't surfers (any more), so it's going to be swayed to webmaster POVs rather than surfers. The only way to find out what is more appealing to the surfer is to ask them, and 90% (obviously a guesstimate) are going to say 'more free pics', 'longer free movies' etc. Great for bookmarkers, shit for business.
