If you hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known the text on your gallery had links at all. I tend to keep my links looking pretty standard with big fonts, always underlined plus very obvious text like "Click here" or "Click now".
If your gallery is doing it's job, there shouldn't be much blood in the brain anyways, so keep it simple!
