The common wisdom among the SEO world is that it's best to have all your domains on separate IPs, even spread out over different blocks. I'm not all that convinced that's true, but I do it anyway, just to cover all the bases.
If you're not really looking for SE traffic from whatever your doing with the domain, then it really doesn't matter.
