Both of my MediaWiki sites are not editable by people we have not specifically approved. Making them editable by registered users only supposedly helps a great deal, however - just change the access settings.
MediaWiki's template engine is annoying, to say the least. It is very powerful and you can do many cool, slick things with it, but it depends on if you want those cool, slick things and want to spend the time actually building them. |
