Good Tuesday Morning

Morning all. Last few days we have been getting the area ready to plant my 31 tomato plants in the yard. Our dirt is so hard, we had to chisel out holes with a hammer in parts, lol. But got holes dug, organic mulch in the holes, I put all the drip lines in, then rolled weed barrier down. It was so nice, overcast cool, so we got a lot of work done.

It was dead calm yesterday, when I planted the first 4 and noticed they needed the help of stakes. So I went down to star nursery, and bought some cheap 3' bamboo stakes, and I was driving home I noticed it was getting windy.

Got back, got the tomatoes staked, when MadHatter yells "dust storm"
OMG couldn't see, felt like you were in a small tornado, we were trying to get all our tools in and the weed barrier staked down more so it didn't blow away. My timing couldn't have sucked worse for trying to plant new plants.

So no tomato planting today, supposed to have gusts up to 35 mph. So far the ones I planted are looking ok despite the wind.

So today is an indoors porn type of day. That is the excitement of my week, lol. Have a good one all.
