I think I may get in on this.... A few too many reeses cups for me this year, and they're all sitting around my waistline.
The GF and I were going to start dieting (..she calls it eating healthy) next week, but I can start a few days early...that way I get a head start on her. ![]()

BTW, it's not easy losing weight either since as GG has already pointed out.... nothing fits, I have 1 pair of pants that fit w/o a belt and I *HATE* wearing belts.

Well after losing 40 lbs. last year I started eating taters, rice, taters, pasta and more taters so I think I've put about 15-20 lbs. back on. I just might use this to get the weight back off but a pic every day? Why not once a week? Takes a week to lose 2-5 lbs. anyway. Oh, someone might hit their 10% goal somewhere during the week. Hmmm, OK, I'm in. Go ahead and write me a check Greenie

A cautionary tale. Losing weight fast isn't always the best way to go. About 5 years ago I weighed 286 lbs. In 2 years I lost 121 lbs (42%) and weighed in at 165.
This morning I weighed in at 236 lbs and I want to weigh 175 so I have 61 pounds to lose (26%). So this time I'm going to do it different and try to lose 20 lbs a year instead of 60 like I did last time. Hopefully my body will settle into a healthier routine, and then it will be easier to keep the weight off permanently.

the only thing i want....i bought some new high stiletto heels short boots and a skinny car jeans and a special t shirt, i want to wear that when i have my 40 year old birthday the 21 of september, this contest will make me setting my goal, to be real, if i weight myself tomorrow i think i am on the 180 pounds+ thing, but i am a tall girl( heay its a nice excuse
), i wil post tomorrow also a pic of my whole body..........i know to much expecting to loose that many weight in a short time notice of 3 weeks, but i have some exercizing stuff in this house (and doc said i have to move my butt more)...and i go for it and hell i only hope i wont gain weight in this 3 or 4 months contest..........its still a contest, Stu<---loves contests |

Well in honor of this diet contest tonight i am making my last meal LOL that will be
Buffalo steaks with onions and peppers with sour cream mashed potatoes and fresh mixed veggies from the garden and for dessert chocolate cake with thick chocolate icing with ice cream. After tonight it will be no pop or starches mostly veggies and fish and skinless chicken. |

Once you 1st start a diet, you may lose quickly. But after the 1st week or two, the healthy amount to lose is about #2 a week, according to my trainer.
I still have about 15-20 to ideal only #8 to my "realistic" weight due to age and hormone changes that come with. I've been meeting with a trainer since March, going to take a few weeks off from the trainer and focus on the cardo and pick it back up in Oct. We go to the gym Mon-Fri. Torn, unfortunately, can eat all he wants and still loses weight. Makes me want to smack him for being a male. I, on the other hand, keep a food journal and average 1500-1800 calories a day. My trainer wants me to eat only about 200-250 at time and eat every 2-3 hours to help build a higher metabolism. And it works, I'm hungry all the damn time.......![]() There is nothing like running through an airport, in what you thought were comforty pants, and having to hold them up from falling off your ass and carrying #10 in the back pack didn't help. ![]() |

I just lost 30 LBS. over the last 12 months. I'm on the way back up though. I'll blame it on the sports bar and grill(my part time jobby). Since my diet has been Pizza, burgers, fries, chicken wings , tacos and 22 oz Fat Tires. ehehehe I said fat tire ![]() gee that made me hungry. Sorry about that. OK if I weigh myself tomorrow and I weigh 175(which will be 15-20 elbows overweight). Then I'm in
