Ouchy! I hear that hurts a lot. I broke my father's toe when I was a teenager. Well, I guess I didn't break it personally. He went to kick me, I moved, he kicked the wall and his little toe flopped over as if it was playing dead. Not pretty.

The kids and I managed to speak with my wife last night via our webcams using ooVoo. It probably would have been more pleasant if my son wasn't constantly wrestling his sister down and choking her, but it went smoothly enough. She gave us a tour of her hotel suite and I think the kids liked seeing where she was. At least it looks like we'll all be able to chat and see each other on a daily basis and the kids seem happy with that, so hopefully life can carry on. (I wanted to set up some sort of private webcam chat room on my server, rather than using a third party provider, but I couldn't find anything that appeared really simple to install. I'm all about simple - I think you know that.)
