Getting spammed from an unknown LL - Page 2

I hadn't updated that site in like forever.... I took it down a couple
of weeks ago and replaced it with an AEBN page. I recently did a
little work on it, and re-uploaded it. I did not notice that the links
on the top were missing. My bad.

GG doesnt spam me,Tommy doesnt spam me,Penisbot and any every other link list I've been submitting to for 3 years now never spamed me either.I dont send out spam to my submitters.So I'd have to say it's uncommon....unless your referring to accept/reject emails as spam now.

One of two things happened here.Either some nutty webmaster that spams and runs a link list at the same time was sitting around waiting to get his hands on your email so he could flood you with spam within the hour...

OR you casually posted your email all over the web like a shmuck and just happened to receive your daily spam like the rest of us. Whats more likely?

We all get spam just goes with the internet im not sure there is anyone that doesnt get it.There is NO fix all to not get it if there was there would be NO spam

.Submiting to LL has no bearing on spam In my opinion been submitting free sites for years and well i got spam before i did and i get to this day its life deal with it and add spam assasin or something to your email. In regards to the the unlinked text that was at the top of your page ( that is no longer there ) well that was just wrong. MML is right on how small the link list world is and at some time or another they ALL talk to each other .Or of course read threads such as this one.

Why Would LL send porn spam or any spam of any kind to other webmasters ? when we are ALL in the same biz . that just doesnt happen well hasnt to me in 8 years of doing this. Since no webmaster is gonna buy another webmasters porn thats just silly Dont you think ?

This thread should of started with.. "Riddle Me This..." I kind of like when things get uncovered and someone gets totally owned by their own thread. The sad thing is that the keyword stuffing/spamming the page toppers will just be moved to index23.html since its now been removed from index2

And to me thats just so 1997 way of getting traffic

and on a side note, did someone shake the banana tree? I have seen my share of influx of nothingness as of late in the more reputable boards. Its like someone left the gate open at the "ZOO"

Yes I have noticed this sad trend. From noobs who ask for help and them smash our faces with flames to others who ask for help and then do as they damn well please along with everything inbetween. We get a few honest webmasters who will be an asset to the community, but those are getting to be quite rare.

I am going to quietly sit on my hands cause my thoughts right now are not exactly ladylike. Blame the mistakes on whoever, Dollpix, but YOUR name and reputation are on the line.
