Aretha's hat is a tradition of the African American woman, especially church going women. One of my favorite traditions....being wanting to get that book for awhile.

I had to Wikipedia America the Beautiful, I couldn't remember if the music to that was borrowed....but it wasn't according to them. But it was actually the Star-Spangled Banner that was set to a British drinking song.
