There afre sets of pictures, well over a 100, in a set, thought that was understood. I am in agreement with you grandma. I think a less "fuck you and die" response may have been more appropriate. Especially coming from a rep who I have always viewed as pretty reasonable and not so easily rattled.

Maybe instead of retreating or getting into a pissing contest, a more professional way would have been to feel the board out, look over program announcements and see how they are given/viewed on THIS board and not assume that everyone will have the same enthusiasm on every webmaster forum.

This board is more business than bullshit - more than just staring at a nice set of tits. Just have to post accordingly.

A lot of sponsor reps would rather treat us like horny school boys than marketing professionals for two reasons: it's easier -and- many male "webmasters" act like teen boys when they see a naked girl.

I'm not an idiot -- I understand the reasoning behind marketing the new product to salespeople, but I also think it can be done in a way that doesn't make the poster come off as an immature teenager raving to his buddies about how he saw a classmate's older sister walking through the house naked.

Let's face it, she's not even bright enough to know that she doesn't have a signature nor that she didn't even link to the affiliate program within her post. Met-Art should fire her and hire me.

The fact that Loryn didn't even get that GG was joking annoys me more than her calling me an asshat. I've been called worse by better. Hell, I've been called worse by GG.

I agree with grandma. Loryn's comments are the exact opposite of anything I would have expected from a representative of such a well known program. GG&J is all about adult business. There are many ways to promote a program and this is probably the worst method I have ever seen.

The thing I love on *THIS* board is that we don't have the surfmaster (thanks for the term UW) posts here. Unlike that other board, we really have very little flaming. We all disagree but respect each other for having a different opinion. Would those pics make me want to sign up for Met-Art? No. I know your program well, I respect it for what it does. I don't do well with that kind of site, plain and simple. Other webmasters do.

There is absolutely no reason to get all childish and throw a tantrum, Loryn. Had you read through any of the posts about programs here (or bothered to read anything for that matter), you would have posted in an entirely different manner. We already know what kind of content Met-Art has. Why not tell me the things about your program that will make me want to promote it? Cross-sells, consoles, zipped content, FHGs, HFS, revshare and per sign up percentages? Or, are you just not able to get the surfmasters if you present your PROGRAM in an adult, businesslike fashion?

I was looking very seriously add adding a high-class solo softcore type sponsor to my mix, but... If this is the way affiliates and potential affiliates are treated, this is probably not a good program.
