Getting traffic to the TGP is not a question that can easily be answered

There's alot fo things that you have to consider & experiment with:
Get the TGP lsited on a few auto submitters (which will also bring you a shitload of submits)
Trade with similar TGP's
Work the search engines
Link to it form whatever you are building (free sites, other galleries, avs sites, etc)

The AVS question is a little easier - check out our Traffic Resource database - there's alot of link sites out there that will list AVS sites
