First time submitter

I manage to get rid of the Whois protection yesterday,
is there anything else to think about BEFORE i start submitting?
what is this "trusted submitter" i come across in some places? how do i become "trusted"?
and another thing, how do you keep track of where and when you submit? what template and content you used and such?

I did submit one of the freesites to one place before got aware of the whois problem, i did not get any rejection mail but i looked at the stats and it says 3 uniques so i don´t think it was listed, it would be interesting to know if there was a problem i can correct for future submitting.
the linklist is FreeSiteXXX, do you know where i can find the owner?
