Planning on Miami for at least a day, maybe 2 at most -
I simply have to meet Cleo  After that, unsure, I really really dislike Florida. (long story) Vegas is looking like in the middle of a BB tourney for the kids.

If I wasn't madly in love with my wife I think I'd follow Sammy to all the shows.
Instead I'll try for Chicago. If I can't look at Sammy then at least I can check out Dr. B with short hair. Florida is a big hopeful for me becasue last year it was cool and I'll try to make the next Vegas show. |

The 2 NW webmaster shows.. one in May (i think the weekend of the 15th) and the fall one.
i'm in a no-fly zone till after NOV. election. then i may be only flying 1-way, Mon. |rasta| ...or i may have to go to Jersey..  depending on the results.. |

I'll be going to the Phoenix Forum next week (love that show!) and the San Diego Cybernet Expo (have high-hopes for that event - looks to be a good one)... but for the FIRST Internext/ia2000 since 1999 I will be boycotting the summer Florida show.
Why? Because after evaluating what I'd "gotten" out of attending the past few years in a row, the summer show just isn't worth the time and the $$$ to attend. I think it's just a matter of taste. I am starting to appreciate the mid-sized gatherings like Phoenix Forum and Cybernet over the mega-shows (although I am a Vegas freak so ya know I'll always go to that one) and dinky 100+ webmaster gatherings. Local 25-50 get-to-gethers are cool too... but I would only go to something like that if it was a drive-able distance. On another board we were talking about how many shows we'd attended over the years - I've personally gone to over 23 that I could count/remember... I don't think that sitting *one* out will be too big a loss.  |

What's going on in Chicago? I haven't heard anything about that.
Hopefully I'll be in Phoenix, something just came up that threw a wrench in my spokes. I'll possibly go to the Atlanta show in May but I'm not sure yet, these next couple months are BUSY BUSY BUSY. Since I live in San Diego, of course I'll be at that show. Montreal in July would be great and it is on my "planning list". And of course Internext in August, count me in! |
